My practice revolves around mythmaking and mazemaking as an attempt to understand the interconnectedness in the processing of becoming. Using mythology, spaces from memory, and nature-creature relation as source of inspiration and a starting point, I create a space to host those yet-to-be-defined moments, connecting the opposed, the seemingly unrelated, and the ambiguous. As a result, my works are my thoughts on growth, transition, and transformation, and my constant feeling of being in-between.

Initially influenced by cave paintings and Chinese calligraphy, I use lines both as scaffolding and a connector throughout the process. Straight or curved, brief or extended, they can be the contour as well as the object; visible or buried, they may suggest depth or flatten it, allowing a layered narrative to gradually take place that may feel both natural and disquiet.

In my recent projects, I extend my research to insectile, edges, and the representation of space while experimenting on fluidity, transparency, and reflectivity with mixed materials.
